OK so i'm doing this retrospectively now, but i thought important to finish the job. This is our friend Claire at a bar she took us to with crazy russians and garden gnomes in kreuzberg, which is the turkish bit and i think my favourite area in berlin. Claire is living/working with her partner Sean at Künstlerhaus Bethanien where she is doing an Ozco artist residency.. they do very amazing and clever things which you can see at their website http://www.claireandsean.com/. The place is a big old school or hospital or something, but it kinda felt like being in a japanese horror film, in a good way.

sorry for the lapse in posts. i kinda got caught with a few things the past few days. Ok so on Sat sumu and i recorded a duet we wrote straight to vinyl with this machine these guys had set up for transmediale. On Sunday we went to the flea markets and i got a pair of boxing gloves for 3 euro, and then that night we went to a bubble on the (frozen) river, which was this mixed nude sauna and swimming pool, you could swim outdoors, was very funny/wierd. Last night we gave artist presentations which went really well. Tonight we are going to see Mathew Barney talk and see his new film which is part of the Berlin film fest. exciting. you will see that the new school in berlin is old school techno rave.. scary.

I was working late and the window started to make these shadows, nice huh. And this is a photo of me in the apartment.
SGM Iceberg probe was my favourite project from transmediale. The jury thought so too. Makes me remember why i love the field i work in so much. This is the website: http://www.researchraft.net/ it's just the website and not the installation, interesting nonetheless.

Here is sumu looking like he's on a photo shoot for blue magazine, and here is a miniature villiage train set. they are everywhere, like the deutsch version of pinball or whatever. we went out to a big club night for transmediale, and felt stuck in a rave timewarp, fractal projections and everything, when they played the rave version of ï like to move it, move it' we decided to go home. though i'm sure the deep irony of it all was missed on us foriegners.. i hope. it's snowing quite heavily today.
